infinity-v1

Ocho is a link-based encrypted messenger with one Carlos process and database per person, a flat list of DMs/groups, and no phone-number requirement. Native SwiftUI iOS/macOS and Kotlin/Compose Android apps share one Go/gomobile engine for encryption, protocol verification, networking and state. There are no native WebViews.

Signed-in web chats now remain at https://ocho.chat through a bounded known-tenant API relay. Rastrillo verifies discoverable passkeys; a client-only PRF-derived key wraps the existing identity, so sign-in restores encrypted history across clients. Recovery files remain an explicit alternative. Apple associated domains and exact-certificate Android Digital Asset Links are configured; private keys and PRF results never reach the server.

Validation: Go tests/vet; Chromium/WebKit multi-instance DMs, groups, consent, removal, recovery and database plaintext-absence checks; seven Go/Swift interoperability and integrity tests; actual SwiftUI and Compose UI receipt/send tests with peer decryption and zero WebViews; Android lint/build and signed Apple builds. Live Chromium PRF enrollment/sign-in restored the same keys/history at ocho.chat; live WebKit recovery stayed at that origin. Physical passkey-provider ceremonies remain unverified.

The native iPhone app is installed and launched on Paul's paired phone; the Mac app is open. Importing the earlier unsandboxed Mac identity needs a one-time folder grant through the native import button. Android has a tested debug APK and a dedicated emulator, not a store release. Main remains unmerged. This text-chat implementation has no independent cryptographic audit or double-ratchet forward secrecy; push, device revocation, attachments and voice/video remain follow-ups. Deployment evidence and tooling paths are in docs/infinity/status.md and android-handoff.md.
