Checkpoint f37759f7 makes every successful unit-process stop wait for listener closure, including when the timeout watcher began cleanup. Its deterministic Unix-listener regression fails the former atomic entry guard. A separate readiness fixture now waits for the fake child to start rather than for an entry to exist. The move-checkpoint fixture checks recorded failures when the recorder degrades under its fixed25ms budget; exact owner/purpose checks and targeted negative controls remain. No production recording budget changed.
Full local build/vet/gofmt/make test and three cross builds passed at00:04:01Z; exact-tip Amadan gate/cross/MinIO passed. Package/focused normal and race checks and targeted mutants passed. Original sidecar gate and initial readiness race failure remain preserved. Independent Codex found no remaining blocker after correcting the exact newStore mutation evidence. REQUIRED OPUS CODE REVIEWS REMAIN PENDING after provider session quota; no replacement acceptance is inferred.
Unpublished checkpoint only, on the separate sidecar branch lineage. Do not merge or deploy. Sidecar root restore/new-DB coverage, checked old-agent termination and other activation holds remain. LIVE BILLING OFF. Cherry-picks to older bases must also include the self-contained readiness helper from3e4f075a; this branch already contains its original ownerBackend test helper.
