Owned by overnight Sheets agent, coordinated with docstrack (separate STALE refresh work). New isolated fix/empty-sibling-replacement based a012c8f; only siblingsync.go applyRow and new siblingsyncempty_test.go planned. Actual regression against current Poll reproduced before code change: nonempty revision7 indexed, next S1 announces revision8, successful S3 empty/whitespace body, Poll advances c2 but retains prior document and index. Both cases fail /tmp/memoria-empty-before.log with 'successful empty replacement retained the old document'. Regression committed separately for independent review.
Scope: retire prior passages only after successful exact-requested-revision empty S3, through existing source+item-scoped deletion path; preserve missing/error/reset behavior and cursor failure ordering. Spec basis §4.1 current-revision replacement and decision8 provenance; no blank content can justify retaining obsolete passages. No source reset/purge implementation. Existing Store.Delete lacks the full future §7.4 durable tombstone/provenance machinery; this bounded fix will not claim those missing systems complete. Fable spec/branch review pending reset; no merge/deploy.

Draft fix465a74b pushed on fix/empty-sibling-replacement, basea012c8f. Regression762a8b7 is the preceding commit and fails against baseline for both empty and whitespace exact-success responses. New code is limited to applyRow's successful empty branch, calling existing source+item-scoped deleteBySiblingItem and retaining all refusal/error handling. Draft spec docs/superpowers/specs/2026-09-07-empty-sibling-replacement.md.
Validation: full make ci green (/tmp/memoria-empty-ci.log); focused HTTP/real-storage regressions green (/tmp/memoria-empty-focused.log). Overlay removing retirement reproduces failure (/tmp/memoria-empty-mutation.log). Tests cover prior index removal, same item ID in another source retained, replay deletes zero,404/403/500 retain documents, index failure retains DB and cursor,409 CURSOR_RESET retains DB/index/cursor. No UI copy added. Exact-head remote CI requested, independent Fable spec/branch review still pending; no merge/deploy.
Existing Store.Delete limitations remain explicit: no future durable tombstone/derived-artifact machinery implemented, index-first then DB transaction can reduce results until rebuild on DB failure. No reset deletion behavior introduced. Separate shared reset draft corrected to retained corpus until completed re-announcement (suite e016d6f/discussion10).
