The user can send it another message and resume it, so the same task-id may notify more than once.</note> <result>I have everything I need. Source verification is done; the rest is reasoning, which follows. **VERDICT: CHANGES NEEDED** Three required changes. Everything else verified or noted as non-blocking. --- ## Required changes ### R1. §11 still says ruling 18 forbids the feed §11 line 795 at HEAD: > "No activity feed (ruling 18, §15), no template gallery, no upsell chrome, no waffle." Ruling 18 now reads "Activity is approved in principle, pulled at render, and sequenced last". §11 cites it as the reason there is no feed. A reader of §11 alone gets the ruling backwards. Replace with something like: "No activity feed *yet* — ruling 18 approves one, pulled at render, blocked on `design-activity-pull`'s review and sequenced as §13 step 10." Everything else about ruling 18 is coherent (see Verified, item 1). ### R2. Ruling 19's enforcement is unspecified, and §7's argument defends the wrong distinction §7 line 553-559: > "the home decides who may take a **name**, and never who may read a **document**. A reservation is custody of a DNS label, adjudicated once at creation. Authorization is a per-request question about content..." Two problems. **"Adjudicated once at creation" is false for the case ruling 19 exists for.** The first claim of `acme` is a decision about a resource only ("is this label free?") and is fine. But "only Acme can later create `acme.sheets`" is a *second* adjudication, later, by a possibly different person, and it needs a principal: the home must answer "is this requester Acme?". The spec never says how. The model has no suite-wide membership — `kind` is per `(person, app, team)` row, and a `kind: member` row in `acme.docs` does not mean "may create instances for Acme" (that is a role, which §5.4 says the home must not hold). The two obvious implementations — check the requester's directory `kind`, or record a first-claimant person ref on the `teams` row — both have the home deciding a person↔resource question from data it holds as authority. That breaches §2.2 **and** ruling 9 ("answers *where might I have things*, never *may I have this*"). **The name-vs-document distinction is not what §2.2 turns on.** §2.2 says "Never holds an authorization model", not "never holds a content authorization model", and the spec's own precedent proves it: ruling 15 rejected a per-team 2FA floor, which is a policy about sign-in with no content in it, on §2.2 grounds. So "it's about a name, not a document" does not by itself clear §2.2. **Plain answer:** ruling 19 does not breach §2.2 as *ruled*, because a reservation is compatible with §2.2 — but §7 as *written* does not show that, and the natural implementation would breach it. It stays clean only if the home never decides the person-level question. Two shapes do that, and the spec must pick one: - **(a) The drain decides.** A request for `acme.sheets` from anyone is enqueued (call 4, with team sqid + app); the home records the requester's person ref and renders their directory rows as a *hint*; the human operator decides. This is rulings 7, 8 and 9 doing exactly what they already do, and it needs no new home-side rule. It also means §14's auto-drain row gains a third decision. - **(b) An existing instance decides.** "Create `acme.sheets`" is initiated from inside `acme.docs` by whoever `acme.docs` considers an owner, and arrives at the home as an instance→home call under `acme.docs`'s consumer credential. The home checks only that the calling consumer's origin is in `team_instances` for team `acme` — a fact it created at the drain, not a judgement about a person. Either keeps §2.2. Also rewrite "adjudicated once at creation" to say the second-instance case is adjudicated by whichever of (a)/(b) is chosen. ### R3. The §10 split leaves three things assuming the old one-row-per-instance `teams` 1. **Display name ownership.** §6's tuple carries "sealed team name" per directory row; §9 call 2 "Sends address + sealed team name" per instance, and "a team is renamed (re-announce, so guests stop seeing a stale name)". After the split there is one `teams.sealed display name` per suite-wide team, but the write path is per instance. If `acme.docs` renames to "Acme Corp" and `acme.sheets` still announces "Acme", the spec does not say which wins or whether a rename in one app renames the team suite-wide. Say who owns the name (the home, set at provisioning, with call 2's name a per-instance hint that updates it last-writer-wins — or names set only at the home). 2. **§9 "a team is deleted (team-scoped revoke)".** After the split, an instance going away is not a team going away: `acme.docs`'s revoke must delete its `team_instances` row and its directory rows, and leave `teams` (and the label reservation) alone while `acme.sheets` exists. §9 should say "an instance is deleted". 3. **Ruling 17's rejected column contradicts ruling 19.** Ruling 17 rejects "grouping by hostname label alone, which merges two unrelated teams that picked the same word". Under ruling 19 two teams cannot pick the same word, so that harm is impossible and the recorded reason for the entity no longer holds. The entity is still justified — the reservation and the display name need a row that exists before the first instance and outlives any one of them — but the table should give that reason, not one ruling 19 has made moot. --- ## Verified **1. Ruling 18 and §2.2.** Coherent apart from R1. What is true today is stated three times and consistently: §2.2 "The verb changes when that design passes its own review, not before... Until then this clause stands as written"; §15 "the design carrying it is explicitly unapproved — its §12 says the review AGENTS.md requires has not run"; §13 step 10 "blocked on steps 3 and 4, and deliberately last". Nobody can read this as permission to build now. The design's §12 does say "Not run. This spec is not approved", and its §10 says "blocked on §13 step 3 [and] step 4... the slot is after step 4 — a step 10 in §13's list. It has no claim on anything earlier, and it must not acquire one" — the spec's step 10 matches that nearly verbatim. The spec's "licenses nothing else" list is a fair summary of the design §3's list. Note (non-blocking): the §2.2 note says the title exists "for the length of one response, in RAM", but the design's ruling 4 keeps a RAM cache with a TTL, and its own §2.1 says "for the lifetime of one HTTP response, and for the RAM cache's TTL". The design's review pass is where that gets pressed; the spec could say "one response, or the RAM cache's TTL" now. **2. The §10 split.** The switcher trace works: `?team=<sqid>` selects; items are the distinct team sqids of the viewer's own `directory` rows, labelled from `teams`; tiles are registry entries with the viewer's `(person ref, app, team)` rows under each. Consistent with §6's tuple (sealed name reached via sqid), §4's shape (`teams.label` + registry slug), and §7's reservation (a plaintext `teams.label` row is the only way to enforce uniqueness against sealed queue payloads, and plaintext is fine — §3.2 already lists hostnames as plaintext). **Leak question: no new at-rest leak.** The label was already plaintext in every hostname and §3.3 already concedes hostnames approximate company names; the blind index protects addresses, not team↔team linkage. The split makes an existing correlation explicit. Two render-layer points to note: `directory.host`, `team_instances.host` and `consumers.origin` now hold the same host three ways, and §11's argument for stripping the hostname field from the registry ("a free per-app pattern is an invitation to drift") applies equally to a stored per-instance host — say it is derived or asserted equal to the shape. And under a selected team, the New button for an app the viewer has no row in must not behave differently when `<team>.<app>` already exists, or a guest in `acme.docs` learns Acme uses Sheets — exactly what §11's tiles paragraph forbids. Also unstated: a purged/TTL'd queue entry must release its label. **3. Ruling 19.** See R2. **4. The eight findings** — each verified at source, all closed and correct: - **`<details>` switcher / selection in URL.** `rastrillo@v0.22.0/ui/partials/dropdown.html` is `<details rst-dropdown>` + `<summary>` + plain `<a href>` items, comment reads "a zero-JS disclosure". `?team=` and §14's "Any preference beyond theme" agree. - **Tiles from viewer's own rows.** Correct and consistent with gate 4 (with the New-button caveat above). - **Registry compiled-in.** Consistent with §10 (no registry table) and §14's `integrated: false` row. - **§3.2 freshness.** `sessions.Fresh(sess, maxAge time.Duration, now)` at v0.22.0 returns `now.Sub(verified) <= maxAge` where `verified` is `AuthTime` falling back to `At`. "In minutes" is loose (it is a `Duration`; callers pass minutes) and the codes-page dependency is actually stated in rastrillo `passkey/recovery.go` ("Call it from a page mounted behind sessions.RequireFresh"), not in §5.2's text. Substantively correct. - **§3.3 unmitigated.** Consistent with §3.2's "exact at rest". Honest that the coarsening rule has no mechanism. - **129 vs 130.** tokens.css v0.22.0: 536 `.rst-`; 129 distinct `[rst-x]` bare; 130 distinct names in any `[rst-…` form; the one valued-only name is `rst-tone` (`~="positive"|"warning"|"negative"`, 3 each). v0.21.0 identical; v0.20.0 is 528 / 0, matching the original "~528". - **`Pair`/`Allocate`/`--rst-header-rule`.** In rastrillo v0.22.0 they appear in no `.go`, `.css`, `.html` or `.js` file; only in its own `docs/superpowers/specs/2026-08-28-design-system-design.md` (the RULED-not-built list at line 2061 and the palette API). "Zero files" is true of source and false of the tree literally; say "no source file". Non-blocking. - **Status line.** Records the reviewer model as AGENTS.md requires. "four claims corrected" (revision) and "three false claims" (review findings) are different counts of different things; not contradictory, mildly confusing. **5. §15 class-vs-attribute.** Method: concatenate `ui/partials/*.html` from the module cache at each tag, strip `{{/* … */}}` and `<!-- … -->` with a perl regex, `grep -o 'class="rst-' | wc -l`. Result **124 at v0.21.0, 6 at v0.22.0** (raw, unstripped: 128 → 6; the four are in template comments). The six survivors are one each in `bulk-bar`, `choice-field`, `detail-list`, `error-page`, `field-daterange`, `list-bar-search`. Bare attribute spelling in partials: 0 → 122. `callout.html` is `<div rst-callout rst-tone="…">` as AGENTS.md says. rastrillo §6-v3 (line 1370ff): "One spelling, not two. No permanent class fallback" and "ratify the grammar → ship a release whose tokens.css pairs both selectors → flip the partials atomically → drop the class selectors before 1.0". tokens.css header line 23-24 at v0.22.0 still says "the class spelling is what every app and every shipped partial writes today" — stale, as claimed. `doctor.go` present at v0.21.0, absent at v0.20.0. `internal/home/page.go` links no stylesheet and has no `rst-` markup. **6. Whole-spec consistency.** Beyond R1-R3: §13 step 1 / gates, §2.1, §4, §5.3 (120 s), §8/§14 (theme-only prefs), §12 all consistent with the edits. §5.1 still says `auth_sessions.address TEXT NOT NULL` "verified at origin/main" (2026-08-30); at v0.22.0 `auth/store.go:26` says `auth_sessions` is no longer written and the readable address now lands in `sessions.subject` via `Subject: id.Address` (`auth/handlers.go:136`). Same conclusion, stale detail, not touched by this branch. **AGENTS.md (`04df769`) agreement.** Agrees on every shared point: item 1 "Never render content from an instance" unchanged (spec §2.2 says the clause stands until the design's review — and the design's §3 says the AGENTS.md edit lands "on approval, not now"); the Frontend graveyard, 124→6, §6-v3, `doctor` in v0.21.0, "flagged for Paul; until he rules, §11 stands" all match spec §11/§15; 120 seconds, full-host RP ID, no-hibernate, three gates at step 1 all match. AGENTS.md says nothing about the springboard, `teams`, or reservation, so R1-R3 create no disagreement with it. The only divergence is the `auth_sessions` detail above, where AGENTS.md is the more current of the two.</result> <usage><subagent_tokens>149609</subagent_tokens><tool_uses>22</tool_uses><duration_ms>433566</duration_ms></usage> </task-notification>

The user can send it another message and resume it, so the same task-id may notify more than once.</note> <result>No `rst-` anywhere in the tree, as claimed. Everything is verified; here is the review. **VERDICT: CHANGES NEEDED** — one substantive finding, small to fix; everything else in the file is true at source. ## The one change (item 5: stated more strongly than its evidence supports) **The ruling-20 statement is over-broad.** "Write the attribute spelling: `rst-btn`, not `class="rst-btn"`" is stated as the whole rule, but rastrillo's own ratified grammar keeps seven utilities as `class`, and they have **no attribute selector**: - Design-system spec §6-v3 (RULED), the bullet before "One spelling, not two": **"`class` is for utilities and the app's own CSS** — `rst-sr-only`, `rst-mono`, `rst-grow`." - `ui/tokens.css` v0.22.0, lines 43–46 (same header the bullet already quotes): "Utilities keep the class spelling and are not paired: rst-sr-only, rst-mono, rst-m-hide, rst-grow, rst-nm, rst-danger, rst-cell-mut. … they stay class after the move." - `SKILL.md` line 303: "the vocabulary is attributes, not classes … `class` carries only" that same list of seven. - `internal/markup/markup.go:51`: "the seven classes that keep the class spelling … stay class past stage 3". - tokens.css v0.22.0 has zero `[rst-sr-only]`, `[rst-mono]`, `[rst-grow]`, `[rst-m-hide]`, `[rst-nm]` selectors. Concrete consequence: an agent following the bullet literally writes `<span rst-sr-only>` — nothing matches, and visually-hidden text becomes visible. This is the same failure class the bullet's history is about: a rule that reads right and is false at the pin. This corrects three clauses: 1. The rule itself needs one qualifier: kinds, variants and parts are attributes; the seven utilities stay `class`, by rastrillo's grammar, because they have no attribute selector. 2. "tokens.css there pairs **every class** with an attribute twin" — the header says "every **component** rule"; the utilities are unpaired by design. 3. "falls from 124 … to 6 at v0.22.0, replaced by the attribute spelling" — the 6 are exactly the utilities (3× `rst-sr-only`, 2× `rst-mono`, 1× `rst-danger`), not residue awaiting a flip. Saying so makes the count explain itself. Spec ruling 20 and §11 carry the same omission. That is a shared gap, not a disagreement; the spec branch should get the same qualifier. ## Item 1: every other clause of the Frontend bullet, at source - **Ruling 20, 2026-09-05** — §1 row 20 on the spec branch, Paul. True. - **"One spelling, not two. No permanent class fallback"** — verbatim, design-system spec line 1394, under "## 6-v3 … RULED". **"drops the class selectors before 1.0"** — line 1423, the "mandatory" staged path. True. - **"this app has no `rst-` markup yet"** — `grep -rn 'rst-'` over the tree: nothing. True. - **Graveyard 1.** First pin was v0.21.0 (`ef8a30f`, 2026-08-31), bumped to v0.22.0 (`0d0262a`). v0.21.0 header says "TWO SPELLINGS, ON PURPOSE, FOR ONE RELEASE" verbatim. The original claim: I count v0.20.0 and both 2026-08-30 v0.20.1 pseudo-versions at **528 `.rst-` / 0 bare `[rst-`**, and v0.21.0 (tagged 2026-08-30T23:14Z) at 536 / 468. So "true then, against v0.20.x, false at the first pin" holds — the "v0.20.x" attribution is inferred from the count matching only v0.20.x, and it does match only that. - **Graveyard 2.** "§6-v3 stage 2" is rastrillo's own label: `ui/markup_v3_test.go:13` "Stage 2 flips the partials". **My count method:** `cat ui/partials/*.html`, strip `{{/* … */}}` and `<!-- … -->` with `perl -0pe`, then `grep -o 'class="rst-[^"]*"' | wc -l`. v0.21.0: **124** (128 raw; 4 inside template comments). v0.22.0: **6** (none in comments). Exactly as stated. `callout.html` at v0.22.0 is `<div rst-callout rst-tone="…">`, verbatim. The v0.22.0 header still says "the class spelling is what every app and every shipped partial writes today" — present and stale. The spec's "129 distinct bare attribute selectors, `rst-tone` only ever valued" also checks out (129 distinct, `[rst-tone]` bare = 0). - **"two careful counts of it disagreed"** — a process claim I cannot verify at source; harmless. ## Item 2: agreement with the spec branch AGENTS.md agrees with the spec branch on every point I checked, §11 included — with the shared utility omission above. Three things on the **spec branch** are stale, and in each AGENTS.md is right: 1. **§11's opening line still says "and the **class** vocabulary — `class="rst-*"`"**, three paragraphs above "Write the attribute spelling". Self-contradictory on landing. 2. **§15 Open still lists "Class or attribute spelling — §11 needs a re-ruling … Needs Paul."** Ruling 20 closed it. 3. **§5.1 says `auth_sessions.address TEXT NOT NULL`, "verified at origin/main"** — true 2026-08-30, stale at v0.22.0 (see item 3). Ruling 14's conclusion is unaffected. (Cosmetic: §1 rows run 17, 18, 20, 19.) ## Item 3: prior findings — all landed and correct - **RP ID first door.** `passkey/passkey.go:108–123`: `Config` has `Sessions, DB, Origin, LegacyRPID, ConfirmPath, Logger` — no RP ID field. Line 161: `RPID: u.Hostname(), … LegacyRPID: cfg.LegacyRPID` straight through. `webauthn/webauthn.go:122`: "allowLegacy is true only for assertions." `New` validates `Origin` only as an absolute http(s) origin and never validates `LegacyRPID`, so "both accepted silently" is right. - **Gate 9.** "which is why" is gone; the reason is now the file's own (scans strings, `main.go` emits log lines — it does, `logger.Error(...)`). §13 step 1 on the spec branch is "Skeleton, `AGENTS.md`, gates 1, 2 and 9". Nit: "§13 step 1 lists all three" appears twice in the paragraph (lines 33 and 41), and line 41 overruns the wrap. - **`sessions.subject`.** `auth/store.go:26` "auth_sessions is no longer written to"; `0002_sessions_backfill.sql` copies rows into `sessions` then `DELETE FROM auth_sessions`; `sessions` schema has `subject TEXT NOT NULL`; `sessions.go:154` inserts it; `auth/handlers.go:136` `admit()` sets `Subject: id.Address`. "Moved rather than closed" is exact. - **"add", not "keep".** `cmd/rastrillo/new.go:745` scaffolds the test into `internal/<pkg>test/`; the tree has `internal/home/` only. `doctor.go` exists at v0.21.0 and not v0.20.0; `--fix` at `main.go:75`. `page.go` links no stylesheet. All true. ## Item 4: whole-file pass Checked every section against the spec branch: one rule and its two lost absolutes (§0, §3.2, §3.3); the three gates' wording (§12 verbatim, including "store objects", "plus rekey", "WAL included"); the four never-dos (§2.2 — its first clause is "under amendment" per ruling 18, but the spec says it "stands as written", so AGENTS.md is correct as is); the §6 quote (verbatim); the two-sided boundary test, the retraction, 120 seconds, `jti`, audience, identity exemption (§5.3, §5.4 verbatim); prune rule (§9.1); no address column, pepper, additive migrations, the log rule with "job status message" (§3.4 verbatim); "does not hibernate" (§2.1 verbatim); `X-Carlos-Version` (§12). `CGO_ENABLED=0` and "a promote is not a deploy" are not in the spec (Makefile and platform facts; no disagreement). Nothing else diverges. ## Merge order The note is right. Both branches fork from `462df84` (= `main`); the spec branch touches only the spec, this branch only AGENTS.md, so there is no textual conflict. Main's §11 line 660 still rules the class vocabulary, so landing this first makes AGENTS.md "wrong" by its own line 8. One caveat: because of spec-branch item 1 above, even after both land the spec's §11 opening line will still contradict AGENTS.md until that line is fixed on the spec branch.</result> <usage><subagent_tokens>112722</subagent_tokens><tool_uses>28</tool_uses><duration_ms>292932</duration_ms></usage> </task-notification>

The user can send it another message and resume it, so the same task-id may notify more than once.</note> <result>**VERDICT: APPROVE** Mergeable to `main`. Both required changes are real, verified by running code, and nothing found is blocking. Worktree left clean at `a1cd9d3`. ## What I ran - `CGO_ENABLED=0 make test` (GOCACHE redirected): vet, gofmt, build, and all four packages green. - HEAD's `logtest_test.go` against a `git archive` export of `HEAD~1`: all three new cases fail there (`found() = ""` for struct field, slice-of-any, map value), pass on HEAD. - A scratch router with every shape you listed, driven through the branch's own `fillParams`/Walk logic, with and without the pre-attached RouteContext. - A scratch probe of 17 transformed canary forms through `Recorder.found()`. ## Change 1: RouteContext assertion Attaching `chi.NewRouteContext()` before `ServeHTTP` changes nothing observable. chi v5.3.2 `Mux.ServeHTTP` sees the existing context and skips only `Reset()`, `rctx.Routes = mx`, and `parentCtx`; grep shows `Routes`/`parentCtx` are written there and in `Reset` and read nowhere else in chi. Inside handlers, `RoutePattern()`, `r.Pattern`, and `chi.URLParam` were identical with and without it, for nested `Route`, `Mount`, and wildcard. The assertion fires for a top-level regex route (`/num/{id:[0-9]+}` → `RoutePattern()==""`) and is silent for: a handler answering 404 itself, `Mount`, `Route`, `/files/*`, `r.Handle` under all nine methods chi enumerates (incl. CONNECT/QUERY/TRACE — `httptest.NewRequest` accepts them), and `HEAD`. Exactly as claimed. **One gap, non-blocking:** a regex param *inside* a `Mount`/`Route` (`/sub/n/{id:[0-9]+}`) yields `RoutePattern()=="/sub/*"` — the mount stub matched, the sub-router 404'd, handler never ran, assertion silent. The old status-code check caught this case. No such route exists today, and the file's doc comment already assigns regex params to the step-2 author. If you want it closed cheaply: keep the walked `route` on `target` and test `rctx.RoutePattern() != tg.route` — I verified that fires for both regex cases and for nothing else (chi.Walk and `RoutePattern()` apply the same `/*/` collapse, so they are string-equal on every match). ## Change 2: encodings Caught: quoted-inside-JSON string, `json:"-"` `[]byte` field (JSON drops it, TextHandler's `%+v` still prints `[67 65 …]`), `json.RawMessage` top-level and nested, `[25]byte` array nested, `*[]byte` nested, `[][]byte`, `[]string`, error. Missed and out of scope (app-applied, not handler-emitted): `%x` hex, double URL-encoding. **One gap, non-blocking:** the base64 and `fmt.Sprint` forms match only when the nested slice *is* the canary. `[]byte("x"+c)` and `[]byte("xy"+c)` miss (base64 phase); `[]byte(c+"!")` misses (bracketed decimal, and base64 padding). My JSON-payload case `{"address":"CANARY…"}` was caught only by luck — the canary sits at offset 12 (≡0 mod 3) and `"`'s top bits are zero. Since the comment's own motivation is "a job struct carrying a Payload []byte", the realistic payload is a serialisation *containing* the canary, which this mostly misses. Fix is ~10 lines: strip the brackets from the decimal form, and add the three base64 phase alignments with partial groups trimmed. Follow-up, not blocker — HEAD~1 caught none of these. ## Comment accuracy - "production is slog's own default handler … renders values the way TextHandler does … superset": **true**. `newDefaultHandler` is `&commonHandler{json:false}` and `Handle` calls the shared `appendNonBuiltIns`; rastrillo v0.22.0 constructs no handler anywhere outside its `cmd/`. Minor: `main.go` *passes* `slog.Default()` explicitly rather than rastrillo "falling back" — same logger, wording slightly off. - "Both are silent today; this makes them loud": true at top level only (see gap above). - "the first real route step 2 adds": per spec §13, step 2 is sign-in; the directory is step 4. The example is right, the step number is wrong. Nit. - "Two" → "Three things": correct, the list has three bullets. - `{id:[0-9]{2}}` mangling claim: verified by reasoning on `chiParam`; it substitutes `{2}` and leaves `{id:[0-9]CANARY…}`. - strconv.Quote form is an identity for all three canaries (printable ASCII); harmless. ## Summary Blocking: none. Two known gaps (mounted regex route; canary embedded in a larger nested `[]byte`), each with a small precise fix, plus two comment nits. The user can send it another message and resume it, so the same task-id may notify more than once.</note> <result>VERDICT: CHANGES NEEDED The crux (§7 vs §2.2) is now sound. What blocks is the file itself: two of the fixes the last commit message claims were never applied, and ruling 20 left its own contradiction standing three lines above it. All references are to `/home/paulca/amadan.net/oficina/home/.claude/worktrees/spec-springboard/docs/superpowers/specs/2026-08-30-home-design.md` at `634ffef`. ## 1. Does the new §7 clear §2.2? Yes, with three things to say plainly **Fast path.** The check is a home-written fact: `team_instances` is written at the drain, and the caller's identity is the home's own `consumers` allowlist. The home never learns who the instance considers an owner; it trusts the instance to have gated the request, which is what "never holds an authorization model" *requires*, not a breach of it. The sharpest remaining objection is that "may this *origin* extend this team" is still a may-question. The answer the spec has but doesn't say: §9 already authorizes consumers (call 5 is "scoped to this consumer"), and labels on `oficina.works` are the home's own namespace. Consumer-level authorization over the home's own resources predates ruling 19; person-level entitlement is what §2.2 forbids. One sentence in §7 closes that door. The one place a person-level view enters: the new instance needs a first owner and a welcome address. The requesting instance must supply it, and it lands in the queue as sealed payload, exactly as a fallback requester's does. That is the honest answer to "does the home trust the instance's owner view" — it carries it opaquely, never judges it — and §7 should say so. **Fallback.** Stays a hint if the drain shows rows with `kind` (a guest row in `acme.docs` is not "is Acme") and never a verdict. The operator reads the requester's graph, which is §0's disclosed leak set, not content, so this is not the support console. Fine as written; `kind` deserves a mention. **Compromised `acme.docs`.** It can extend its own team's footprint, bounded by the registry's `provisionable` set, one row per (team, app), and the drain still seeing it. The sibling gets its own consumer token from the drain, so no new home credential reaches the compromised host. Acceptable, and unrecorded. **Blocking, same section.** Lines 576-579 ("Fallback — everyone else goes to the drain") and ruling 19's own text (line 64, "anyone else falls to the drain") imply the fast path does not drain. But line 531: the home holds no provisioning credential. Nothing but the drain can create `acme.sheets`. Both paths end in the queue; the fast path settles only the label question for the operator. §7 must say this or it contradicts its own load-bearing safety fact and ruling 7 ("a human sees every team before it exists"). ## 2. R1 and R3 - **R1, §11 activity line** (836-838): closed, correct. - **R3, ruling 17's rejected column** (61): closed. - **R3, display name** (714-721): addressed, but it creates a contradiction with §9 lines 668-670: "a team is renamed (re-announce, so guests stop seeing a stale name)". If call 2's name never overwrites, the re-announce cannot un-stale anything. Either the rename event is struck and rename becomes an operator verb, or the model is different from what §10 says. Also §9 line 653 still has call 2 sending a sealed team name the home has ruled never to use; say what "advisory" means. - **R3, §9's instance-deleted event: NOT applied.** The commit message for `634ffef` says "§9's 'a team is deleted' is an instance being deleted after the split", but the diff touches no line in §9. Line 669 still reads "a team is deleted (team-scoped revoke)". ## 3. Ruling 20's consequences Verified at the pin from `/home/paulca/amadan.net/rastrillo/rastrillo` tag `v0.22.0`: 129 bare `[rst-*]` selectors, `rst-tone` the only valued-only attribute, 536 `.rst-` occurrences, partials `class="rst-…"` 124 → 6, the stale header sentence at tokens.css:24, `Pair`/`Allocate`/`--rst-header-rule` in zero non-doc files, §6-v3 line 1394 "One spelling, not two", line 1423 "drop the class selectors before 1.0". All of §11's numbers hold. - Gates 6 and 7 are spelling-agnostic. `ui/contrast_test.go` parses `--rst-*` declarations and selector blocks inside tokens.css; it never reads markup. - The `<details>` guidance holds: `ui/partials/dropdown.html` at v0.22.0 is `<details rst-dropdown name="…">` / `<summary rst-btn>` / plain `<a href>` items. Attribute spelling, GET links, zero JS. Upstream documents its cost (closes only on a second click, not Esc). - **Missing carve-out, blocking in both files.** The six surviving `class=` occurrences in the partials are all utilities: `rst-sr-only`, `rst-mono`, `rst-danger`. At v0.22.0 those exist **only** as class selectors (tokens.css lines 758, 838, 1107, 1527; no `[rst-sr-only]` twin), and §6-v3 says "`class` is for utilities and the app's own CSS". A reader following ruling 20 literally writes `<button rst-sr-only>` and gets a visible button. §11 and AGENTS.md's Frontend bullet each need one sentence. - **§11 line 744-745 still opens with "the class vocabulary — `class="rst-*"`"**, contradicting ruling 20 thirteen lines below it. - **§15 lines 927-931 still lists "Class or attribute spelling — §11 needs a re-ruling… Needs Paul."** It has been ruled. ## 4. The two consequences §7 records - **Auto-drain third decision**: §7 line 587 says "§14's auto-drain row *now carries* a third decision". §14 line 900 still says "two decisions" and was not edited. Contradiction. - **Purge releases label**: correctly stated and consistent with "Entry TTL with sealed-payload purge". - Still unrecorded downstream of ruling 19: the fast-path call is absent from §9's table (call 4 is person→home; this is instance→home); a fully decommissioned team keeps its label forever (ruling 17 says the row outlives any instance — decide or list as open); the fallback should reserve the *hostname* at enqueue too, or two requests for `acme.sheets` race; §13 does not sequence the fast path (needs step 6's consumer credential); §7 says "calling origin" but `team_instances` stores `host` and `consumers` stores `origin` — name the join. ## 5. Whole-spec consistency Beyond the above: status line (3) says "rulings 17-19"; the table runs 17, 18, 20, 19; §11 refers to "§11's own rule" and "§11's zero-JS page" from inside §11. §5.1's evidence is stale at the pin: `auth_sessions` exists only in `auth/auth_test.go` at v0.22.0 as migration legacy, and the leak is `Subject: id.Address` at `auth/handlers.go:136` into the shared `sessions` table. The conclusion holds; the citation is the class of claim this branch just corrected in §11. ## 6. Agreement with `fix/agents-md-matches-spec` Both branches fork from `462df84`; the spec branch touches only the spec, the AGENTS.md branch (`06d635a`) only AGENTS.md. No conflict. They agree on ruling 20, the three step-1 gates, the RP ID, 120s, the never-federate wording. Two divergences: both omit the utility carve-out (agree, both wrong), and AGENTS.md is right about `auth_sessions` where spec §5.1 is stale. Neither is a rule disagreement; AGENTS.md's "the spec wins" clause is not triggered. ## To reach APPROVE 1. §11 line 744-745: drop "class". 2. §15: strike the re-ruling item, closed by ruling 20. 3. §14 auto-drain row: add the third decision. 4. §9 line 669: instance deleted, not team. 5. §9 rename event vs §10 display-name ownership: resolve. 6. §7: both paths end in the queue; the fast path settles the label, the drain still creates. Fix ruling 19's "anyone else falls to the drain" to match. 7. §11 and AGENTS.md: utilities (`rst-sr-only`, `rst-mono`, `rst-danger`, `rst-grow`) stay `class=` per §6-v3, verified at v0.22.0. 8. §7: one sentence that consumer-level authorization is §9's pre-existing business, and that the fast path's first-owner address enters as sealed payload. The rest are minor and can ride the same commit.</result> <usage><subagent_tokens>109919</subagent_tokens><tool_uses>12</tool_uses><duration_ms>356898</duration_ms></usage> </task-notification>

The user can send it another message and resume it, so the same task-id may notify more than once.</note> <result>I have everything I need; nothing further to fetch. Here is the verdict. **VERDICT: CHANGES NEEDED** The core mechanisms are sound and I confirmed them at source and empirically (a throwaway Go program against modernc.org/sqlite v1.55.0, the version go.mod actually pins). What blocks approval is that the rewrite left the plan contradicting itself on the one code path that matters, and left the suite-wide sign-in endpoint with less protection than the text claims. ## The 11 prior findings | # | Status | Evidence | |---|---|---| | 1 | **Closed, fix correct.** | Empirically: second upsert with a new ref and the same `blind_index` returned `pr_first`, row count stayed 1, `created_at` untouched. Concurrent first sign-ins are safe: one inserts, the other updates and returns the same ref. | | 2 | **Partly closed** — see A, F below. | `LinkStore` signatures match `magiclink.go` at v0.1.1 verbatim. Keymail path is reached: `Begin` → `Classifier.Classify` → `beginKeymail` (`flow.go`). But Task 4 still builds a hand-rolled Begin that never touches `Flow`. | | 3 | **Closed, fix correct.** | 20 rounds × 8 concurrent takers spread across the writer pool *and* the reader pool: exactly one winner every round. Unknown/expired/used all yield `sql.ErrNoRows`. Take-then-mint matches rastrillo's own order (`linkStore.TakeLink` comment). | | 4 | **Closed.** | `csrf.Protect` (`csrf/csrf.go`) is pure origin evidence — `Sec-Fetch-Site`, then `Origin`, then `Referer` — and never consults a session. Cross-device holds: the token rides `?token=`, the session cookie lands wherever the form posts. | | 5 | **Closed as to the DSN and the hook; the proposed test is aimed at the wrong pool** — see D. | `db.Open` DSN is exactly as quoted, two pools (writer capped at 1, readers ≥4). `RegisterConnectionHook` exists at v1.55.0 (the pin), not only at v1.57.0 as the plan says. Hook fired on every connection in both pools and after close/reopen. | | 6 | **Closed, every claim verified.** | `recoveryCodesPerSet = 10`; `r.Method != http.MethodPost` then `PostFormValue("code")`; `recoveryAlphabet` base32, 10 chars = 50 bits; `sessions.HashToken`; `DELETE … RETURNING`; no counter, `pendingTTL = 5 * time.Minute`; `Gate` needs `Enrolled(sess.Subject)`; `webauthn/js.go` embeds `js/webauthn.mjs`. All four passkey tables key on `subject`. | | 7 | **Closed.** | `passkey.Config` has no RPID field; `New` sets `RPID: u.Hostname()`. `rpMatches(…, allowLegacy)` consults `LegacyRPID` only when `allowLegacy` is true. `sessions.setCookie` sets no `Domain`. | | 8 | **Prose closed, steps not** — see I. | Canary guidance is correct (`logtest.go:171-174` does fold case). But Task 1's six steps still never create `sealtest`, and Task 4 uses `sealtest.Token`, which the port never defines. | | 9 | **Closed, with one false source claim** — see E. | | | 10 | Out of scope here, as agreed; note the citation drift in I. | | | 11 | **Closed.** | The §3.4 counter-example and ruling 20 are both stated correctly. | ## New findings, as a first-time reader **A. Task 4 and Task 5 build the same endpoint twice, and the first build has the holes Task 5 says are unacceptable.** Task 4 step 3: *"`sessions.NewToken()` returns `(token, hash, err)`; mail the raw token, store the hash. Seal the address, insert, send"* — a hand-rolled Begin with no `Flow`. Task 4 step 4: *"open the sealed address, classify it (Task 5)"* — classify at redemption, which Task 5 then calls the earlier draft's bug (*"did it after the mail had already gone"*). Task 5 step 2 expects *"FAIL — no `flow` field"*, but "Helpers and wiring" says `newTestApp` — built in *"Task 1 and 2, before anything calls them"* — already wires *"a `signin.Flow` with a stub `LookupTXT`"*. Followed exactly, the executor ships a Task 4 commit whose `POST /signin` has no rate limit and no CRLF guard (`SplitAddress` is Task 5's), then rewrites the security-critical path. Fold the LinkStore and Flow into Task 4, or make Task 4 the LinkStore task and Task 5 the handlers. **B. `POST /signin` is not behind `csrf.Protect`.** The plan mounts it only on `POST /signin/verify` and (Task 6) recovery. `auth.Begin` checks same-origin itself, and its comment says why: *"an unauthenticated endpoint that sends mail and makes outbound DNS/HTTPS calls decided by the submitted address (a blind-SSRF surface by design)"*. Mount `csrf.Protect(origin)` router-wide, as the csrf package doc recommends. **C. The per-IP budget the plan credits to `Flow` does not exist behind the platform socket.** Task 5: *"Rate limits on `POST /signin` … Defaults are 20 per IP"*. `Serve` listens with `net.Listen("unix", socket)` (serve.go:557); Go's `RemoteAddr` for an unnamed unix peer is `""`, `auth.clientIP` returns it unchanged, and `Flow.Begin` skips the IP budget entirely when `clientIP == ""`. Nothing in rastrillo or sheets-core reads a forwarded header. So either there is no per-IP limit at all, or — if the platform supplies a fixed peer name — a *global* 20-per-15-minutes cap on suite-wide sign-in. The plan must name the IP source (a trusted platform header, if one exists) or explicitly pass `""` and add a total-rate cap. §2.1 makes this service the SPOF. **D. The `secure_delete` test must assert on the writer.** Task 2 step 5: *"forcing a fresh connection — close and reopen, or drain the writer pool — and asserting the pragma there"*. Only the connection that performs DELETEs needs the pragma, and that is the writer pool's single long-lived connection opened by `Ping` inside `db.Open`. A hook registered *after* `db.Open` misses it forever while a "fresh connection" test passes. State: register the hook before `db.Open` (name where), and assert on `d.Writer()` plus one reader. **E. False source claim in "Helpers and wiring":** *"A zero `AuthTime` is never fresh, so a session minted without it can never pass `RequireFresh`"*. `sessions.Fresh` falls back to `sess. At` when `AuthTime` is zero — the doc says so explicitly: *"plugins that never set AuthTime (the magic link) still converge instead of redirect-looping"*. Also `Identity.AuthTime` is zero for magic links by construction (`CompleteMagicLink` sets only `At`). Correct instruction: copy `Method` and `AuthTime` from the `Identity` as `auth.admit` does; do not invent one. **F. Three things the executor cannot make work as written.** (i) The plan mounts `GET /signin/callback`, but `Keymail.redirectURI()` defaults to `/auth/callback`; the `Keymail` constructor must set `RedirectPath: "/signin/callback"` — the *"Configuration:"* list omits it. (ii) *"`GET /signin/verify?t=…`"* (twice) — `sendLink` builds `?token=`. (iii) `app.flow.Begin(…, "203.0.113.1", 0)` does not compile: `Method` is `type Method string`. **G. `purpose` has nowhere to live.** `0002_signin_links.sql` has no `purpose` column and the DELETE has no purpose predicate, yet Task 5 step 3 says test *"that a wrong purpose does not match"*. Either add `purpose TEXT NOT NULL` in 0002 (Task 4 already knows Task 5 exists) or say the store hard-checks `purpose == signin.PurposeSignin`. Relatedly, `expires_at > ?` is a string comparison; pin the format (`expires.UTC().Format(time.RFC3339)` on both sides, as `auth/store.go` does) or a zone-offset value silently accepts expired links. **H. Refuse to boot without a mailer.** The plan never forbids `mail.Logged`, whose `Send` logs `"to", to` — an address into platform-held logs on every sign-in, the exact §3.4 leak. Sheets already has the shape (`LoadAuthEnv`: *"no mailer means magic links get written to platform-held logs … hard exit"*). Same for an empty `opts.DBPath`: `Resolve` only sets it from `-db`, and SQLite treats an empty filename as a private temporary database. **I. Stale residue an executor would follow.** File Structure still says `templates/ … class="rst-*"` (contradicts ruling 20) and `classify.go signin.Classifier wrapper` (superseded by `Flow`). Task 4 "Interfaces" routes only `POST /signin` and `GET /signin/verify` — no `POST /signin/verify`. Self-review notes still list `signin.ClassKeymail` as "the one unverified identifier" and `db.Open`/`secure_delete` as "the riskiest assumption", both resolved above them. Task 1 has no step that creates `internal/home/sealtest`. `created_at … coarsened to the day (§3.3)` cites a section that, on the spec branch, now says coarsening is *"a rule for publication … never a storage format"* — keep the behaviour (it is strictly less information and has no freshness role), fix the citation. Task 7's guard calls `passkeyConfig(t)` while Task 6 is blocked and no `passkey.Config` exists; say what the guard asserts until then. And say *why* `GET /signin/callback` may mint on GET when `GET /signin/verify` may not: the `__Host-` pending cookie plus `state` bind it to the browser that began the flow, which is what closes login CSRF there. Nothing here undermines the design; A–D are the ones that would ship as vulnerabilities or an outage if followed exactly.</result> <usage><subagent_tokens>176688</subagent_tokens><tool_uses>20</tool_uses><duration_ms>465124</duration_ms></usage> </task-notification>

I have everything I need. **VERDICT: CHANGES NEEDED** — one item. Everything else is a follow-up. ## The one block: B5 is not addressed at source Plan lines 1213–1230 (`docs/superpowers/plans/2026-09-03-home-signin.md`), Task 7 step 1: ```go const credentialOrigin = "https://id.oficina.works" func TestRPIDIsExactlyTheCredentialHost(t *testing.T) { u, err := url.Parse(credentialOrigin) ... if u.Hostname() != "id.oficina.works" { ... if cfg := passkeyConfig(t); cfg.LegacyRPID != "" && !strings.Contains(cfg.LegacyRPID, ".oficina.works") { ``` Three problems, and the change summary claims all three were fixed: 1. **The Origin half parses a test-local constant, not `passkeyConfig(t).Origin`.** It asserts a literal against a literal and cannot fail whatever the app does. AGENTS.md says "The RP ID is the full host — asserted by a test" and step 2a's own prose says `passkeyConfig` exists precisely so the guard does not "assert a constant against itself" — the snippet then does exactly that. This is a gate written to pass, on the ruling (2/13/16) the gate exists for. 2. **`strings.Contains`, not `HasSuffix`.** `grep HasSuffix` on the plan returns nothing. `Contains(".oficina.works")` accepts `x.oficina.works.attacker.example`. 3. **It will not compile where the plan puts it.** Files/`git add` place `rpid_test.go` in `internal/guardstest` (package `guards`), but `passkeyConfig(t)`, `renderTo`, `templateNames` are helpers over the unexported `App` and live in package `home`'s tests. A `guards` test cannot call a `home` test helper. Either move `rpid_test.go` into `internal/home`, or export a `home.PasskeyConfig()` from a non-test file. The in-snippet comment "Until Task 6 lands there is no passkey.Config; … skipped subtest" is also stale: Task 7 follows Task 6. Fix: `u, err := url.Parse(passkeyConfig(t).Origin)`, `HasSuffix(cfg.LegacyRPID, ".oficina.works")` (or the exact-host check AGENTS.md actually asks for), relocate or export, drop the stale comment. ## Verified at source (all hold) - **B1**: steps 5a/5b/5c, 4a, 2a present. sheets-core `sealtest_test.go` has `TestLeakedDetectsCanary` and `TestFindLeakChecksWAL` to port. `seal.go` HKDF info string as described. - **B2**: gate 2 uses `sealtest.CanaryAddress` (line ~880). `SplitAddress` rejects a second `@` (`ContainsAny(domain, "@ \t")`). - **B3**: `scriptAllowed` keyed by template and src, inline rejected, CSP test, script-stripped recovery test — present. rastrillo `defaultCSP` is `default-src 'self'` with no `unsafe-inline` for scripts, so "still the default" is the right assertion. - **B4**: Task 5 says render is built there minimally; Task 7 extends. - `signin` v0.1.1: `Flow` fields, `Begin(ctx, address, clientIP, force Method)`, `Next{Kind,Redirect,Pending}`, `Class` struct, `Identity{Address,Method,At,AuthTime}`, `LinkStore` signatures, `?token=`, `Key [32]byte` + `ErrNoKey`, Keymail path skipped when `Keymail`/`Classifier` nil, per-IP budget skipped only on `""`, `LinkTTL` 15m default — all as stated. - rastrillo v0.22.0: `db.Open` DSN and two pools, `Writer()` only, `Ping` inside `Open`; `sessions.Config{DB,Origin,TTL,SigninPath}`, `Fresh` falls back to `At`, `__Host-` cookie with no `Domain`; `passkey.Config` has no RPID field, `LegacyRPID` passthrough, `ConfirmPath` default `/passkey/confirm`, `Gate(w,r,sess)`, `pendingTTL` 5m, `recoveryCodesPerSet=10`, `SignInRecovery` reads `PostFormValue("code")`, `SignInFinish` mints `method+"+passkey"`, `StepUpFinish` mints `"passkey"`, `Sweep(db,now)`; `webauthn.JS()`, `authtest` used by `passkey_test.go`, `register({challenge,rpId,rpName, userId,userName})`; `csrf.Protect` is origin-evidence only, GETs pass; `auth.clientIP` returns `RemoteAddr` unchanged on `SplitHostPort` failure; `auth.Verify` redeems on GET; `admit` sets `Subject: id.Address`; `rastrillo doctor` and `TestVendoredAssetsMatchTheLibrary` exist. - modernc v1.55.0: `RegisterConnectionHook` is on the singleton the `"sqlite"` name is registered with; `ConnectionHookFn(conn ExecQuerierContext, dsn string) error`. - `dbresolver.Read` with `Raw`: `switchGuess` checks the Read setting before guessing, so `d.G.Clauses(dbresolver.Read).Raw("PRAGMA secure_delete")` does reach the reader pool. - Go 1.25 `mime` maps `.mjs` → `text/javascript; charset=utf-8`. - carlos `platform/internal/edge/homemap.go` on its main: `stripForwardedHeaders` and `SetXForwarded` present. - Spec/AGENTS.md on `main` (`5a42f2d`): rulings 17–21 present; §11 carve-out, seven utilities, attribute spelling, gate 6 wording, "the home does not hibernate" — the plan agrees with all of them. The `signin`-instead-of-`auth` divergence and the KDF-vs-HMAC tension are both explicitly filed rather than silent. ## Follow-ups (not blocking) 1. **`app.go` is modified in Tasks 1 and 2 but appears in neither's Files nor `git add`.** Task 1 step 5c hands the Sealer to the app (`home.New()` takes no args on main); Task 2's Interfaces says "an `App` holding `*db.DB`". Those two intermediate commits will not compile as committed. Add `internal/home/app.go` to both. 2. **Task 1 step 5c builds `newTestApp` with things that do not exist until later**: `BootSchema` (Task 2), `github.com/keymaildev/signin` in `go.mod` (Task 4), `App.flow` (Task 5). Say "start it with DB + Sealer; Tasks 2/4/5 extend it", or move the Flow wiring to Task 5 step 4a where `signIn`/`capturedLink` already live. 3. **`newTestApp`'s "stub `LookupTXT`" must return a non-NotFound error (or `Classifier.HTTP` must be a stub transport).** Verified: an empty TXT result makes `delegate` return the domain itself, and `domainInfo` then does a real HTTPS GET to `https://<domain>/.well-known/keymail` with a 5s timeout. `nil, nil` from the stub puts every `signIn` on the network. 4. **Task 7's allowlist uses literal `/static/webauthn.mjs` and `/static/passkey.js`, but `rastrillo.NewAssets.Path` fingerprints (`/static/passkey.<hash>.js`).** If the templates use the `asset` func, the allowed screens fail the sweep. Decide: serve those two on stable paths (Task 6 routes them literally), or strip the hash before matching. 5. **Task 7's no-script test file is in no Files list and no `git add`** (only `render.go`, `templates`, `static`, `rpid_test.go`). `scriptSrcs(t, b)` is referenced and not in step 2a's helper list; its second return is named `allowed`, which reads as the wrong thing — probably `hasScript`. 6. **Helpers table (line ~106) lists `loadSecrets(t)` under "Test helpers"; step 5b defines it as the production loader `main.go` calls.** Pick one signature. 7. **Task 4 Interfaces has two contradictory "Consumes" lines** (one names `sessions.Sessions`, `mail.Sender`; the next says "and nothing else"). Delete the first. 8. **`sealtest` imports `testing` from a non-test file, like `logtest`.** `TestLogtestOnlyImportedByTests` covers only `logtest`; extend it to `sealtest` (one string in a slice). 9. **Nobody calls `sessions.Sweep` or `passkey.Sweep`.** Task 4 sweeps `signin_links`; sessions (30d) and `passkey_pending`/`passkey_challenges` rows grow unbounded. Same boot + periodic shape. 10. File Structure still says `logtest/ … Already on feat/gate-9-no-content-in-logs`; it is on `main`. 11. The two spec corrections the plan files (§5.1's `auth` sentence; AGENTS.md's identical "use `auth` only for classification" line) are filed nowhere I can see beyond the plan text. Everything below was checked against the branch tip, main at `5a42f2d`, the Sheets spec, rastrillo v0.22.0 in the module cache, and the platform source. **Reviewer:** Fable 5.1 (`claude-fable-5-1`) — record this in the status line if the spec is revised. **Preliminary:** the task named one commit `6833731`; `origin/design-activity-pull` has three (`6833731`, `92ddcc1`, `c9274bf`), adds two review documents under `docs/superpowers/reviews/`, and is cut from `462df84`, three commits behind main. I reviewed the tip. # VERDICT: CHANGES NEEDED Paul's ruling settles the shape (pull, not push; titles; nothing at rest; step 10). The findings below are what the shape does not settle. 1–6 are blocking; 7–14 are required corrections that are cheap. ## Blocking **1. The spec is written against a §11 that no longer exists, and it does not say whether the feed is cross-team.** §8: *"§11 stands: your teams grouped by app, and a New button."* On main, ruling 17 replaced that page: *"one page: a grid of apps, with a team switcher as a dropdown in the header. You pick a team above; the grid below is that team's apps"*, and *"The selection lives in the URL (`?team=…`)"*. The whole justification in §2.1 — *"only the home can answer 'my things' rather than 'this team's things'"* — presumes a cross-team page. Either the feed follows `?team=` (then it is a per-team merged list, finding 1 of the verdict returns, and the fan-out is 2 hosts not 6) or it spans every team on a page whose grid is one team's. The spec must choose, and rebase on main. **2. §7 contradicts itself, and the losing half is the safety claim.** §7: *"The TTL is short enough that a stale row is a curiosity, not a lie… bounded by a number we choose, not by a hibernating fleet's wake schedule."* Then: *"A failed pull never evicts a good cached answer. It renders the cached rows plus the failure marker"*, and §8's marker *"showing what we had at 09:14"*. If cached rows survive a failed pull, a person removed from a team whose instance is asleep keeps seeing its titles until the instance next *answers* — which is the hibernation tail the sentence before says it avoids. Specify a hard maximum age after which rows are discarded regardless of pull outcome, distinct from the refresh TTL, and make gate 13 drive it. **3. §10's 404 rule is ruling 5 in reverse.** §10: *"a `404` from an instance is 'this app does not participate', rendered as nothing rather than as a failure."* Ruling 5: *"An instance that did not answer must be visually distinguishable from an instance with nothing to say."* A participating instance that loses its route in a deploy, or a hostile one, returns 404 and vanishes silently from every front door — exactly *"a plausible empty list, not an error"*. And 404 is already overloaded: §5.1 uses it for "no such thing", §8.1 for a dead host rendered *"unavailable"*. Participation must be declared, not inferred — a compiled-in registry flag beside `integrated` (main §11) — so a 404 from a participating app is a gap. Gate 11 should include this case. **4. The platform edge is a shared cache upstream of both ends, and the spec's cache-header sentence does not reach it.** Verified at `carlos/platform/internal/edge/edge.go`: the edge caches any 2xx GET whose response carries a positive `max-age`, keyed by `{Host, Method, Path, RawQuery}`, shared across every visitor of a host. Its refusals are `private`, `Set-Cookie`, `Vary: Cookie`, `Vary: *`, and *"an Authorization header on the REQUEST… unless Cache-Control explicitly says public"*. It does **not** refuse on a request `Cookie`. Two consequences the spec must handle: - The front door (`oficina.works/?team=acme`, session cookie) would be served to the next visitor if it ever carried `max-age` without `private`. Rastrillo sets no default `Cache-Control` on pages, so today the door is safe by omission, which is not a mechanism. Require `Cache-Control: no-store` on the front door and assert it in a gate. - `/activity` is answered by a consumer-supplied instance behind the same edge. An instance emitting `Cache-Control: public, max-age=60` has the edge serve person A's rows to the home's next pull for person B with the same query string. The home's own cache key (*"person ref and instance host"*) cannot see this. Call 7's contract must require `no-store` from instances, the home must treat a cacheable response as a failed pull, and gate 15 should include it. **5. §2.1 understates what process memory holds, and §3.1's second threat model is not re-priced.** §2.1: *"the home's process memory holds a cross-app list of titles for one person."* The cache holds it for every person who rendered within the TTL — a cross-person, cross-app set of recent titles, resident in the one process that also mints sessions. §3.1's live-host model already concedes the pepper; this adds every active person's recent titles, which §11 calls out as never licensed (*"no cross-person aggregation"*) as a feature while building it as a data structure. Write it into §2.1 and §3, bound the cache (max entries, max bytes per person), and give the TTL a ceiling in the spec — see 6. Also name the platform facts the "in RAM" claim leans on: hibernation kills the process (`activator.go`: SIGTERM then SIGKILL, so instances hold nothing), the home runs under `MemoryMax=1G`/`MemoryHigh=920M` (`caps/render.go`) with reclaim before kill, I found no swap configuration either way in `platform/infra`, and the unit template sets no `LimitCORE`. Either require core dumps off and no swap, or record them as accepted. **6. The open numbers: two can wait for measurement, two cannot.** §12: *"The per-instance deadline, the total fan-out budget, the RAM cache TTL and the body cap are all named as decisions and none is chosen."* The deadline and body cap are tunables with specified behaviour at the limit. The TTL is load-bearing for §7's "curiosity, not a lie" and needs at least a ceiling. The fan-out budget has **no behaviour specified** when exceeded: a person with forty guest rows either gets forty wakes or some instances go un-asked, and an un-asked instance must render as a gap of its own kind or ruling 5 is breached silently. Specify the behaviour; the number can follow. ## Required corrections **7. Fan-out is a cost lever on other teams' bills, and refresh makes it deliberate.** §6: *"A person who opens the front door twenty times a day keeps six instances awake."* Instance-hours are billed to the instance's account (hibernation spec §1). A guest with one row in `acme.docs` wakes Acme's instance on every front-door load, and the refresh link presumably bypasses the cache. Add a per-(person, instance) minimum pull interval enforced even on refresh, and disclose the residency cost in §6. **8. Who mints the call-7 assertion, and where the key lives.** §4 puts *"assertion minting"* on the credential origin and has the directory *obtain* assertions like any consumer. The front door is on the directory origin and now mints N assertions per render. Say whether this is one process serving two hostnames (then the key exposure is unchanged and should be stated) or a mint call across origins. The directory origin is also the surface that now parses N consumer-supplied JSON bodies, so the answer matters. **9. Client hardening is unspecified and Go's defaults are wrong for it.** `http.DefaultClient` has no timeout and follows redirects. Require: the deadline is a context covering connect, TLS, headers and full body read; **redirects are never followed** (a 3xx is a failed pull — an instance redirecting to a document URL otherwise puts that URL into a `net/http` error string, which §3.4 rules is storage); TLS verification on; bounded concurrency across all in-flight renders so one instance that trickles bytes cannot exhaust the process that also serves sign-in (§2.1 SPOF). Gate 15 lists no redirect case. **10. Gate 10 inherits gate 9's blind spot and should say so.** Main's `internal/home/logs_test.go`: *"Rastrillo resolves slog.Default() at construction, which is why its own machinery is outside this gate."* Rastrillo's `recoverPanics` (`serve.go:438`) logs the panic value verbatim. A panic that carries a response body is outside gate 10 as extended. Either route the fan-out through a logger the test owns or rule that call-7 code never panics with a value derived from a body, and add address-shaped and title-shaped `actor` strings to the canary set. Also state that a failed-pull log line may carry the instance host (permitted by home §9's *"team sqid and consumer origin, never either name"*) and nothing else. **11. §0's prose form is amended whether the spec says so or not.** §3: *"§0 is unamended."* The falsifiable form survives — verified, nothing new at rest. But §0's sentence *"it never learns what is in anything"* is now read as "never retains", and Sheets §2.1 seals titles as content. Write that reading into §0 (or its gloss) rather than leaving the prose and the design to disagree. **12. The replacement clause should bind the audience, not just the origin.** Proposed §2.2: *"It may render, transiently and per request, what an instance hands it for the person it hands it for."* Add: *only to that person*. That one word is what keeps the operator-view and support-console prohibitions inside the clause rather than in §11's table. **13. `since` must never be persisted.** It can only come from the RAM cache. A future "remember last pull per (person, instance) across restarts" is the contentless activity table §11 forbids, arriving as an optimisation. One sentence in §4 or §7. **14. Stale claims to fix on rebase.** §12 bullet 2 (*"AGENTS.md is stale against the home spec on three counts"*) is false on main — `5a42f2d` carries all three retractions (AGENTS.md lines 28–31 and 143). The peer-pass paragraph and §2's "Both sources are in this repo" are true only on this branch. Discussions #1 and #6 could not be checked (the `amadan` CLI has no discussions verb). ## Verified and sound - Escritorio brief and verdict are on the branch; every quotation in §2 matches the verdict verbatim, including the confirmed/suspected markings and the ellipsis in the recommendation quote. - Sheets citations: §2.1 seals titles (line 65), §8.3 *"A view link mints nothing"* (476), §9.1.1 *"wait weeks for an organic wake"* (542), §10.2 recency list (781). - `docs/step-2-signin-plan` exists and its plan does block on `HOME_DEK` provisioned by Paul. - §5's audience argument is correct: `aud` is app plus host, per-verifier `jti` stores suffice, and a hostile instance can only lie about its own content to the person whose assertion fetched it — which it could do on its own pages. Gate 18 correctly makes the one-assertion optimisation a tested never. Worth one explicit sentence: the home does not and cannot validate that rows belong to the person; it does not need to, because it renders them only to that person under the instance's own name with a same-host `url`. - §5.1's oracle answer (200-empty for no-grant and no-such-person, gate 17) is sound. §2.2's two disclosed costs are real and correctly not routed around; note the platform also logs every wake with its reason (`carlos logs`), so the §2.2(a) timestamp signal lands in platform logs as well as at the instance.</result> <usage><subagent_tokens>140247</subagent_tokens><tool_uses>26</tool_uses><duration_ms>411927</duration_ms></usage> </task-notification>

The user can send it another message and resume it, so the same task-id may notify more than once.</note> <result>**VERDICT: CHANGES NEEDED** — one block, mechanical but real; everything else is follow-ups. The previously reported items are all verified present except one half of one (Task 2's `git add`), and the RP-ID guard is genuinely fixed. ## The block (B6): the correction landed on a base `main` has already moved past, and the branch does not merge `git merge-tree --write-tree main HEAD` → **CONFLICT (content) in AGENTS.md**. The spec auto-merges cleanly (0 markers; merged §5.1 line 319 carries the branch's `keymaildev/signin` sentence, rulings 20/21 present). AGENTS.md does not: `main`'s `5a42f2d` rewrote the *same* Data bullet (its own `auth_sessions` correction, different wording) and still ends "…and use `auth` only for address classification and the Keymail upgrade, which hold nothing." So the correction is still needed on `main`, but the branch delivers it against `462df84`'s text. The cadence rule is squash-merge only with CI green; this branch cannot be squash-merged at all without a resolution commit, and that commit would be unreviewed binding-file text. The same stale base is why, *read from the branch*, AGENTS.md still says `class="rst-*"` and "Zero JS. No surface…", and the spec's rulings table stops at 16 — while the plan cites rulings 20 and 21. That is not the plan's fault, but it means "verify the spec and AGENTS.md from the branch" currently reads two binding files that contradict the plan on things `main` has since settled. And the plan itself still says what the commit retracts: - line 7, Architecture: "`rastrillo/auth` is used only for address classification and the Keymail upgrade" — the first architectural sentence an executor reads, false at source (verified: `auth.Config` has no `Links` hook; `auth.New` hardwires `Links: &linkStore{db: cfg.DB}` at `auth/auth.go:203`, and that store writes `auth_links (hash, address, …)` at `auth/store.go:82`). - line 96: "the spec's sentence should be corrected to match — filed, not silently diverged from." - line 1376: "Two spec corrections needed…" Fix, one commit: rebase onto `main`, resolve the single hunk by keeping the branch's bullet (it is a superset of `main`'s content), rewrite lines 7/96/1376 to say the correction has landed, and re-run `git merge-tree --write-tree main HEAD` to show zero markers. While in the spec: `main`'s rulings table has a blank line between rows 20 and 21, which breaks the table so ruling 21 renders as a paragraph — it will auto-merge in; fix it here. ## Coherence of editing two binding files in a plan branch Coherent. AGENTS.md's rule ("spec wins, this file is wrong — fix it in the same commit") is about a *disagreement* between the two; here both were wrong identically, so the plan's own standard ("neither made silently") is the governing one, and the branch satisfies it: one commit, both files, both marked "Corrected 2026-09-05", both now agree with each other and with `signin.Flow`'s actual `LinkStore` seam (`magiclink.go:22-30`). The `auth_sessions` detail is right: `auth/store.go:26` says it is no longer written, `sessions/migrations/0001_init.sql:3` has `subject TEXT NOT NULL`, and `auth/handlers.go:136` sets `Subject: id.Address`. The only incoherence is the one above — the correction has to land on top of `main`'s version of the bullet, not beside it. ## RP-ID guard — fixed this time, quoted from the branch `docs/superpowers/plans/2026-09-03-home-signin.md`: - line 1210: `Create: internal/home/rpid_test.go — package home, not guardstest` - line 1256: `cfg := passkeyConfig(t) // what the app configures, never a literal` - line 1258: `u, err := url.Parse(cfg.Origin)` - line 1262: `if u.Hostname() != "id.oficina.works" {` - line 1270: `if cfg.LegacyRPID != "" && !strings.HasSuffix(cfg.LegacyRPID, ".oficina.works") {` - line 1349-1351: `passkeyConfig must return the config the **app** builds, not one the test declares` `grep "until Task 6"` → nothing; `configuredOrigins` and `Count(host, ".")` appear only in the description of the old draft (line 1236). Source checks hold: `passkey.Config` has `Origin` and `LegacyRPID` and no `RPID` field (`passkey/passkey.go:108-132`); RP ID is `u.Hostname()` (`:161`); `LegacyRPID` is assertion-only (`webauthn/webauthn.go:122,148`). `HasSuffix(".oficina.works")` correctly rejects exactly `oficina.works` and `x.oficina.works.attacker.example`. ## Other reported follow-ups, verified Present: `app.go` in Task 1's `git add` (line 410); `newTestApp` starts small and grows (395-399); stub `LookupTXT` must return a real error (401-405) — confirmed at source: `delegate` returns the domain on an empty successful TXT and `domainInfo` then GETs `/.well-known/keymail` (`classify.go:244-281,158-197`), while a non-`DNSError` error returns `""` and touches nothing; the two carve-out assets on stable paths (1152-1159) and named in the allowlist (1304-1307); `sealtest` in the testing-import guard (340-341); `sessions.Sweep` and `passkey.Sweep` (795-797) — both exist (`sessions.go:446` as a method on `*Sessions`; `passkey.go:616`, sweeping `passkey_challenges` and `passkey_pending`); `loadSecrets` out of the table (116-117); `scriptSrcs` in step 2a (1347-1348); `noscript_test.go` in Files and `git add` (1211, 1356); Task 4 has one Consumes line (657); File Structure's logtest location (206). **Not present:** Task 2's `git add` (line 547) still lacks `app.go` — `git add internal/home/models.go internal/home/migrations cmd/home/main.go internal/guardstest`. It also lacks `testapp_test.go`, which Task 2 extends (BootSchema, connection hook). ## Follow-ups (none stop the executor) 1. File Structure line 210 still lists `internal/guardstest/rpid_test.go`; Task 7 puts it in `internal/home/`. 2. Task 4's `git add` (807) lacks `go.mod go.sum` though Task 4 says "Modify: go.mod" — `links.go` imports `signin`, so that commit does not build; also lacks `testapp_test.go` (line 396 says the `signin` dependency enters `newTestApp` in Task 4). 3. `render.go`: Task 5 says "build `(*App).render` HERE" (823-829) but omits it from Files and `git add`; Task 7 says "Create". Make Task 5 create it and Task 7 modify it. 4. `sealtest.CanaryAddress` (346) should be stated as a `string` *included in `Canaries`* — otherwise gate 2 signs in with a value `AssertNoPlaintext` never scans for. Task 5 step 6 ("break the seal, watch it fail") would expose this, but say it. 5. `passkeyConfig(t)`: `passkey.Handlers.cfg` is unexported, so the app must keep the `passkey.Config` it passed to `passkey.New` (a field on `App`) for the helper to return what the app built. One sentence in Task 6 saves the executor a detour. 6. Test at line 1313 destructures `srcs, allowed := scriptSrcs(…)` but step 2a (1347) specifies a single return; `allowed` is never defined. Drop it: `if len(srcs) == 0 { continue }`. 7. Markdown leftovers: line 139 is a table row stranded after prose; lines 1161-1162 are an empty code fence. 8. Line 341 "one string in a slice": on `main`, `logtest_containment_test.go:12` is a single `const logtestImport`; the executor turns it into a slice. Wording. 9. Standing precondition, unchanged: `HOME_DEK`, `HOME_PEPPER`, `HOME_SIGNIN_KEY`, `CARLOS_SMTP_PASS` are Paul's to provision before deploy (line 65, 137-138); tests use test keys so this does not block Tasks 1-7. Everything else I re-read at the pin holds: `Flow.Begin(ctx, address, clientIP, force Method)` (`flow.go:119`), budget skipped only on `""` (`:122`), `clientIP` returns `RemoteAddr` unchanged on `SplitHostPort` failure (`auth/handlers.go:259-265`), `Next{Kind, Redirect, Pending}`, `Identity{Address, Method, At, AuthTime}`, `Fresh` falling back to `At` (`sessions.go:366-371`), `Keymail.RedirectPath` defaulting to `/auth/callback` (`keymail.go:28-36`), `db.Open`'s DSN and single-connection writer (`db/db.go:53-60`), `db.DB.G` exported (`:43`), `passkey.Schema`, `webauthn/authtest`, `rastrillo doctor` in `cmd/rastrillo/main.go:31`, `RegisterConnectionHook` at `modernc.org/sqlite@v1.55.0/sqlite.go:785`, and Go maps `.mjs` to `text/javascript; charset=utf-8`.</result> <usage><subagent_tokens>148531</subagent_tokens><tool_uses>33</tool_uses><duration_ms>357906</duration_ms></usage> </task-notification>
