+**Keeping it current.** Set `CONSOLE_GEOIP_FEED` on the console and it fetches each new edition itself, checking once a day. `dbip-city-lite` is the free default and needs nothing else. For MaxMind, also set `CONSOLE_GEOIP_MAXMIND_ACCOUNT` and `CONSOLE_GEOIP_MAXMIND_KEY`: `geolite2-city` is MaxMind's free edition and `geoip2-city` its paid one. Each also comes as a `-country` edition, which is smaller and has no coordinates. MaxMind calls GeoLite2 unsuitable for commercial use, and its licence limits passing the data on, which serving it to apps may count as. Read it before choosing GeoLite2 for a commercial deployment.

**The licence is yours to keep.** DB-IP Lite is licensed under CC BY 4.0

The Analytics tab does this for you, and apps are told to do the same.
