Carloku temporary static deployment returns 404 for accessible carlos account Issue open

Requested task: publish three temporary static homepage design previews under https://console.carloku.com/a/carlos/ using the supported CLI, with seven-day expiry.

Observed 2026-10-20:

  • Installed CLI: carlos v0.28.0.
  • console.carloku.com responds with X-Carlos-Version: 26065378.
  • carlos auth whoami --console https://console.carloku.com confirms carlos (bdj) membership.
  • carlos apps list --console https://console.carloku.com --account carlos succeeds.
  • carlos deploy --console https://console.carloku.com --account-id bdj --temporary --ttl 7d --kind static --version 93d9b297e753 --label 'CARLOS homepage preview: Constellation' --no-prompt <static-directory> exits 1: deploy: this console does not offer temporary apps, or the account was not found (it answered 404). Nothing was created

Expected: allocate a temporary static app in bdj, deploy it, return a serving URL and expiry, then expire it through the platform lifecycle. Please check console rollout/feature availability or routing compatibility with v0.28.0. No backend cause has been confirmed.

No apps were created and no direct infrastructure access or persistent-app workaround was used. This blocks the three requested previews. Their built artifacts remain on DOCS-T1 under /home/paulca/.cache/carlos-site-oct20/temp-deploys/.

Follow-up: user explicitly authorised trying regular apps. carlos apps create --console https://console.carloku.com --account-id bdj --app homepage-constellation succeeded, followed by ordinary static deploy, ship, promote and a live URL at https://homepage-constellation.bdj.oncarlos.com. Live HTML/CSS/robots bytes match the prepared artifact. Field notes likewise deployed successfully.

This confirms regular app creation/deployment works for this membership/account, while --temporary returned 404. A direct regular deploy before apps create also returned list instances: not found; explicit supported app creation resolved that. Temporary lifecycle support remains unverified and this issue remains open. The user-authorised regular previews have no automatic expiry.
